It is estimated that 43% of the land in Tanzania is used for Agriculture.As a developing country, however, the agriculture sector is faced with numerous challenges, produce storage and preservation is one of the major challenges the industry faces, such challenges add on to local farmers’ setbacks, such a service adds value to the food chain.Established early 2008, Nanaga Food Products was founded in efforts to add value to the food chain, by processing and preserving produce whilst ensuring food safety and food value is maintained and preserved.

Nanaga Food Products is affiliated to the Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO), the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) and the Tanzania Gatsby Trust (TGT)Nanaga Food Products has GS1 authentication for Bar Codes and is in the process of receiving approval and authentication from the Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA) and Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS).Nanaga Food Products is registered in Tanzania under the Business Registration and Licencing Authority (BRELA) with registration number 177088. Nanaga Food Products is a tax paying entity registered with Tanzania Revenue Authority.
